Journalist Zeenat Shahzadi recovered after two years from Pak-Afghan border

LAHORE: Security forces on Saturday recovered ‘missing’ journalist Zeenat Shahzadi from the Old City, who had been missing since two years.

According to Justice (r) Javed Iqbal, Shahzadi was recovered from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border by security forces. The retired judge confirmed the news while speaking to BBC Urdu.

Shahzadi’s disappearance once again came to the fore in 2016 when news broke that her brother had committed suicide.

According to Shahzadi’s elder brother Salman, their younger brother Saddam Hussain had killed himself out of grief for his sister.
